Very authentic, from-scratch Indian food. They also have pre-cooked paratha, and it tastes like real Indian food. I’ll shop here from now on instead of Walmart or Publix.

Little India grocery is truly special. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We came in not knowing exactly what we were looking for, and he took the time to help us with genuine kindness and thoughtful recommendations. It felt more like visiting a friend than shopping. We can’t wait to use what we bought and are already looking forward to coming back to try something new.

Harish was such a delight. He walked us through the store and gave suggestions and pointers because we've never cooked any Indian meals before. Then took the time to have a lovely conversation with us even though he was supposed to be closing. His prices are amazing and he has such a great selection! Will definitely be returning and telling everyone I know to stop by this hidden gem!

Stopped in not really knowing what to expect. And wow! From fresh produce and home-made Samosa (my favorite now), to a wide variety of spices, cupboard staples, snacks, and beverages, this little grocery store has it all. Everything for the novice cook to the gourmet cook. And if you don't know what you want, just ask! The Little India Grocery is owner-owned and operated and questions are encouraged! It's a real neighborhood gem.

They stock every basic ingredient you could need for authentic home cooking – from fresh spices and produce to lentils, rice, and everything in between. I especially appreciate the selection of prepackaged authentic Indian meals, which are perfect for quick, delicious dinners when I’m short on time. What really sets this place apart is the owner, Harish – he’s absolutely brilliant! So knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready with helpful recommendations. I visited Little India Grocery for the first time today, and I’m honestly so glad to have this store right here in St. Augustine. The space is big, bright, clean, and very thoughtfully laid out. Everything is well stocked, easy to find, and reasonably priced — from pantry staples to fresh produce and specialty items. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner, Harish. He is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what he’s building here. You can feel the care that’s gone into the store, and the hospitality makes you want to come back — not just to shop, but to support the place. The store has only been open for around eight months, and it truly deserves more local love and regular customers. Small businesses like this are such a gift to the community, and this one is already doing so many things right.
